Ogden Point Enhancement Society Logo.

Those of you who read this occasionally know that I am now sitting on the Board of Directors for the Ogden Point Enhancement Society.

Ogden Point is one of the spots in Canada that I consider among the best dive locations in our country, particularly for beginners and the Society is committed to protecting and promoting the location, something near and dear to my heart. Ogden Point is not only the location I completed my Scuba Diving Instructors Certification, it is home to some of the finest and most accessible scuba diving in the Pacific Northwest.

The Ogden Point Enhancement Society is adding an Interpretive Center within the Point this year to inform visitors on the marine life of Ogden Point and the surrounding areas, which I am happy to be designing and implementing.

The amazing Ogden Point Breakwater was constructed between 1914 and 1917 and required over one million tons of rock, ten thousand granite blocks, fifty three concrete caissons and over one million cubic yards of dredged fill to build. Indeed, a Canadian engineering marvel.

There are a number of entry points along the breakwater which allow entrance at a wide variety of depths, but the farther you go, the harder it is to get there with a dive tank strapped to your back on the walk out. However, the farther out you go, the greater the variety of sea life...

We are presently in the programming stage of their new web site and we will keep you updated. In the meantime, here's a peek at their new logo.

Ogden Point, Victoria, BC - Canada's Most Beautiful Place to Dock a Cruise Ship.

In early 2008, I was asked to create a professional booth display for the Cruise Industry Association of British Columbia and The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority. I've always loved Ogden Point on Vancouver Island so the opportunity to work with these groups and Cruise Victoria was an opportunity to do work for an area I believe in.

This 10 foot display was unveiled at the Seatrade Exposition in Miami, Florida in March 2008 and was quite the hit.

CondoSky Micro Sites

With more than 20 variations of web site url's booked, we decided a good tactic was developing small micro sites each with a different message which would also re-direct back to CondoSky.com. Check it out here >

Sometimes, a certain web site loses a bit of a message no matter how hard it tries to be all things to all people so we thought we would try a different tactic for a couple of reasons;

1 - To take advantage of a large variety of url's.

2 - To increase search engine optimization by having relevant landing pages which link back to the main web site.

3 - To increase backlinks to CondoSky.com with relevant links, thereby increasing page ranking and search engine results pages rankings.

4 - To promote a variety of messages.

Now, we sit back and wait three to six months and review the process to see how it is working.

Launching the all new CondoSky web site...

For the past six months, we have been slowly working away re-branding a Real Estate company called CondoSky in Toronto, Ontario.

The result is an all new web site with a contemporary look and feel to it with ambitious goals of evolving the site into a global leader in real estate.

Our web site navigation is designed to include a series of links to a variety of properties, such as The Absolute World, Pier 27 and The Shores at Oakville and developers, such as Fernbrook Homes and The Cityzen Group, and expand upon the offerings through an integrated series of pages detailing the developments, the floorplans, the existing inventories, featured unit photos and the amenities which make each development unique.

We are also preparing to offer their development partners a web cam link within the site to illustrate actual progress of the construction and will also integrate the TREB Database of residential listings with the next three months.
